Jamieson is pleased to announce that we have advised the management team of Odido on the agreed sale of Warburg Pincus’s stake in the business to its co-investor Apax. Apax and Warburg Pincus have jointly owned Odido since 2022. Following the transaction, funds advised by Apax will continue to back Odido as the majority shareholder.
Odido, headquartered in The Hague (Netherlands) and formerly known as T-Mobile Netherlands, is a leading Dutch telecommunications operator serving around 8 million consumers and business customers. Since its carve-out from Deutsche Telekom and Tele2 in 2022, Odido has completed a successful rebrand, modernised its nationwide 5G mobile network and gained access to the largest fibre footprint in the Netherlands. Its ambition is to become the Netherlands’ customer champion by making technology more human, accessible and relevant to everyday life.
