Duration: Part-time in Stockholm, followed by an 8-10 week full-time placement in London. Start date flexible, with the potential to convert to a full-time Analyst role.

Our Nordic Division

We are building out our Nordic practice, advising management teams across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland from London and Stockholm. This is a genuine ground-floor opportunity: a well-established, market-leading firm with a strong brand and reference base, scaling a young regional platform. The successful candidate will help shape it from an early stage, working on live Nordic and cross-border transactions and contributing to origination and business development.

Because the Nordic team is small and growing, the role offers earlier exposure, broader responsibility and a steeper development curve than a comparable offering at a larger institution. The candidate will work closely with CEO/CFOs of established Private Equity backed businesses, Founders looking to sell to Private Equity, and directly with Private Equity Sponsors.

Purpose of the role

To support senior colleagues across all facets of transaction execution, together with the origination, business development and product initiatives that underpin the growth of our Nordic practice.

Primary responsibilities

• Drive the core execution tasks on live transactions, including:

– Analysis of client, target and counterparty information (financial models, shareholder data, CIM and management presentation materials)

– LBO returns and Equity waterfall modelling, and the associated structuring presentations

– Reviewing and interpreting client and counterparty financial models and projections

– Management term sheet drafting, equity benchmarking and preparation for client briefing meetings

– Reviewing long-form legal documentation and preparing worked examples

– Project management – timetables, tasking and briefing the senior team on progress

• Prepare pitches and client-facing presentations to a high standard
• Support origination, business development and marketing initiatives across the Nordics
• Perform any other analysis directed by senior colleagues
• Ensure high levels of client service, and contribute positively to the firm’s culture and values

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Final year students, recent graduate or up to 2 years’ experience in a professional services environment
• Interest and understanding of M&A and/or private equity transactions
• PE transaction exposure from an investment banking, consulting or diligence background is a plus
• Demonstrable skills using Excel for financial analysis and modelling, and comfortable interpreting financial statements
• Self-starting and comfortable with ambiguity – suited to a small, entrepreneurial team
• Fluent in English and a Nordic language
