Axa will be the majority investor with management and minority shareholders maintaining a stake in the business.<\/p>\n
Founded in 2015 and based in Milan, Prima Assicurazioni is a developer of a digital insurance platform designed to transform the insurance experience through technology, transparency, and efficiency. The company offers proprietary tech infrastructure, advanced data analytics, and a full-stack digital approach, enabling individual policyholders across Europe streamlined access to customizable insurance, enhanced affordability, and improved service quality. The transaction will enable the Axa Group to further strengthen its position in the Italian market and leverage Prima\u2019s advanced technology capabilities. In 2024, Prima Assicurazioni achieved \u20ac1.3 billion Group Gross Written Premium (\u20ac1.2 billion in Italy), growing by 47% year-over-year (+46% in Italy), and generating a Group EBITDA of \u20ac104 million.<\/p>\n
