Jamieson is pleased to announce that it has advised the management team of Vue International on their incentive arrangements as part of the successful recapitalisation of the business.<\/p>\n
Vue, the largest privately held cinema group in Europe, faced difficulties as a result of measures put in place by governments during the COVID pandemic. Following the execution of a lock-up agreement with key stakeholders in July 2022, the recapitalisation was finalised in January 2023 with the full support of all financial creditors. The transaction substantially de-levered the balance sheet, with total existing debt reduced by approximately \u00a3470 million, and resulted in a significant capital injection of \u00a375 million.<\/p>\n
