Jamieson has been retained by the incumbent management team of iShares to advise them during the process being run by Barclays plc. An agreement was signed between CVC Capital Partners and Barclays plc on 9 April 2009, however the transaction is subject to both regulatory approvals and the expiry of a 45 day \u2018go-shop\u2019 period during which Barclays may consider or solicit proposals for a superior transaction involving iShares and potential other related businesses.<\/p>\n
