Jonny is a Partner at Jamieson, where he advises CEOs and leadership teams on the design and negotiation of management incentive arrangements in private equity transactions. With a focus on aligning management and investor interests, Jonny works across the full transaction lifecycle to ensure management teams are set up for long-term success.
He brings over a decade of experience advising on complex, cross-border deals across the US, UK, Europe and Asia. His work spans a broad range of transaction types including sponsor to sponsor, public to private and corporate carve outs. Recent projects include supporting management teams at Neighbourly, Repay, Mitratech and Penn Foster in the US; Portakabin, Zellis, Kyte Powertech, Tate & Lyle, Interpath and Jewson in the UK and Ireland; and Interplex, Vistra and Terminix in Asia.
Jonny began his career in the M&A advisory team at Grant Thornton and spent time on secondment with Lloyds Bank’s business support unit, gaining hands-on experience in capital restructuring and turnaround investment. He joined Jamieson in 2013 and works closely with the firm’s US business to support global management teams.
He holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Durham, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is US licensed with FINRA, holding the Series 79 and 63 qualifications.
