Jamieson is delighted to announce that it has advised Richard Steer and the management team of Steer Automotive Group on the sale of the business to Oakley Capital, from Keyhaven Capital and Chiltern Capital.
Founded in 2018 by serial entrepreneur Richard Steer, Steer Automotive is the UK’s largest and fastest-growing independent collision repair group. It facilitates repairs through its core passenger car and prestige repair centres and is a key partner for the UK’s leading vehicle insurers, accident management companies and OEM dealerships. The group has a network of over 100 repair centres, and it now represents approximately 5% of the UK repair market, employing over 2,300 people.
The transaction signed in December 2023 and has recently completed.
