Jamieson is pleased to announce that it has advised the management team of Wind Tre on the sale of a stake to EQT Infrastructure. The transaction involves EQT acquiring a 60% stake in a newly created entity which will own and operate Wind Tre\u2019s mobile and fixed network.<\/p>\n
CK Hutchison, Wind Tre\u2019s current owner, will remain invested alongside EQT and hold the remaining 40 percent stake in the newly formed Company. It will provide wholesale connectivity services to Wind Tre and other mobile and fixed service providers in Italy,\u00a0becoming the country\u2019s largest provider of mobile network coverage and capacity. At the end of 2022, the Company\u2019s state-of-the-art network covered approximately 67 percent of Italy with 5G reception, and it will be the first independent access network in Europe primarily focused on mobile.<\/p>\n
