{"id":1521,"date":"2019-02-14T08:54:58","date_gmt":"2019-02-14T08:54:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jamiesoncf.wpengine.com\/deals\/akzo-nobel-group\/"},"modified":"2022-06-24T13:35:28","modified_gmt":"2022-06-24T13:35:28","slug":"akzo-nobel-group","status":"publish","type":"deals","link":"https:\/\/jamiesoncf.com\/de\/deals\/akzo-nobel-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Akzo Nobel Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to announce that Jamieson has advised the management on the carve out of Akzo Nobel\u2019s specialty chemicals business, now called \u201cNouryon\u201d from the listed Akzo Nobel Group<\/p>\n<p>The Jamieson team led by<a href=\"http:\/\/jamiesoncf.wpengine.com\/team\/ian-jamieson\/\"> Ian Jamieson<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/jamiesoncf.wpengine.com\/team\/john-greenland\/\">John Greenland<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/jamiesoncf.wpengine.com\/team\/laura-yell\/\">Laura Yell<\/a> advised the AkzoNobel Speciality Chemicals management team throughout the process, which saw Carlyle Group and GIC acquire the business at a valuation of \u20ac10.1 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The company, now rebranded under the name Nouryon, is a global speciality chemicals leader headquartered in the Netherlands and produces an array of everyday chemical building blocks ranging from chlorine and salt to ingredients for soap and pesticides.
