Jamieson is pleased to announce it has advised the management team of Neptune Energy on the sale of the business to Eni and Var Energi.
Neptune Energy is an oil and gas exploration and production business with operations across the North Sea, North Africa and Asia Pacific.
Jamieson advised on the management investment arrangements as part of the formation of Neptune when CVC, Carlyle and CIC invested in 2018. On the 2023 transaction, the Jamieson team led by Ian Jamieson, Stephen Maxwell and Gus Gayford advised Sam Laidlaw (Executive Chairman) and the Neptune management on their terms relating to the sale of the business.
