Jamieson is pleased to announce that it has advised the management team of Energia on the sale of the business from I Squared Capital to Ardian.
Energia operates across the entire energy value chain in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The group serves almost 900,000 homes and businesses and is a long established provider of renewable electricity, supplying approximately 17% of the island of Ireland’s total electricity requirements and 20% of its total wind power. Energia combines renewables, flexible generation, and customer solutions, and has also entered into a strategic partnership for the development of a 165MW data centre in Dublin.
Ian Jamieson, Gus Gayford, Fionn Dillon Kelly and Rowan Wright advised the management team on the go forward shareholding and incentive arrangements as part of the transaction.
